All contacts appear in your Message contacts list regardless of their opt-in status. To create a list of contacts who have opted out and are no longer receiving messages, you can export your contacts and filter the file to show inactive contacts.

Follow the steps below to generate a list of opted-out contacts.

Create a List of Opted-Out (Inactive) Contacts

  1. Select the Programs tab at the top of your portal.

  2. Each program has its own set of contacts. Select the program you want to export contacts from.

  3. Select the Export Contacts tab.

  4. Choose All Contacts.

  5. Click Begin Export

  6. Check your email inbox and download the exported contacts data file.

 

Filter for Opted-Out Contacts

  1. Open the downloaded file in your spreadsheet application.

  2. Select the Data tab at the top of the spreadsheet.

  3. Click Filter

  4. Locate the Active column and select the dropdown arrow.

  5. In this column, TRUE indicates opted in and FALSE indicates opted out.

  6. Select only FALSE to filter the list. 

You now have a list of contacts who are opted out. You can use this list to create a new group for opted-out contacts or for any other reporting or management needs.
