How do I make a field read-only?

Any custom data field can be set to read-only. This prevents any user from making changes directly in the contact profile.

Start by clicking Manage Fields. At the left, select the program that contains the field(s) that you would like to adjust. For any field, click the pencil icon in the Edit column. Check the Read-Only box under Options, and click Save.

After clicking Manage Fields, click the pencil edit icon to the right of the first_name field.



Check the Read-Only box, and then click Save


Certain fields (such as signalvine_id, customer_id, created_at, etc) are read-only by default.
