How do I change a field's display name?

Data fields can be renamed with display names. The original variable name must be used in any CSV uploads or data integrations, but the display name will be shown to all users throughout the platform.

Start by clicking Manage Fields. At the left, select the program that contains the field(s) that need an updated display name. Click the pencil icon in the Edit column next to the field you'd like to edit. Type the updated field name in the Display Name text box and click Save.

After clicking Manage Fields, click the pencil edit icon to the right of the first_name field.

We'll give the field a display name of High School, and then click Save.
