Set a Custom Field to Read-Only
Any custom data field can be set to read-only, which prevents users from editing that field directly from the contact profile.
Make a Field Read-Only
Click Manage Fields.
From the left-hand menu, select the program that contains the field you want to update.
Locate the field and click the pencil (edit) icon in the Edit column.
Under Options, check the Read-Only box.
Click Save.
Once saved, the field can no longer be edited from contact profiles.
Read-Only Fields by Default
Some fields are read-only by default and cannot be edited, including:
signalvine_id
customer_id
created_at
These fields are system-managed and cannot be changed from the platform.
