Virtual Advisor
Our virtual advisor allows users to automate replies to over 170 commonly texted questions.
Currently, users are not able to add custom questions to the Virtual Advisor tool.
Custom Virtual Advisor Questions
If you have a frequently asked question and want to set up automated responses, Message support can setup custom program messages.
When creating custom replies you will need...
- A commonly asked question (i.e. "Where can I buy football tickets?")
- Synonyms for this question (i.e. "Can I buy football tickets?" "Can I buy tickets?" "Can I get football tickets?" "Can I get football tix?").
Synonyms are not case sensitive. Account for common misspellings or abbreviations!
Program Message Template - Auto Enroll OFF
If auto enroll is OFF for your program, this is how the questions can be formatted within the program message template if you'd like everyone in the program to receive the same answer.

Alternatively, you can format the globals with conditions similar to other program messages if some answers are specific to contacts within a certain group or with another custom field that aligns. Note that Global 2 and Global 3 have the same reply/question, but have different content responses based on a contact's grad_year, noted within the Condition column.

Program Message Template - Auto Enroll ON
If auto enroll is ON for your program, the global setup will be a but more involved to ensure that folks texting within the opt in flow do NOT get these global replies. The differences are highlighted in purple, indicating that additional conditions would need to be added to ensure that they would only go to those who have completed the opt in flow.
