I will be using the program to send bulk texts to up to 100 persons at a time to remind them of an upcoming required meeting. Im wondering how to import contacts/create contacts and then send a bulk text. Also, I will need to create multiple contacts/groups.
There are a couple of options for how to get this message out! One way is to use an existing data field (or a new campaign field) to identify these folks, with data imported via CSV. You could then use advanced search to send the message.

Is the no action needed automatically checked when you read it and you'd have to acitvely check actively conversation?
Messages are in Active Conversations even if they have been read. The only times they are automatically moved to No Action Needed is if they get an automated response (like a handler in a program message setup by our engineers) or if a user has changed their settings to automatically move messages when they reply. Any advice on best practices for times to text? Or best calls to action?
We strongly encourage folks to limit texting to 8am - 9pm to ensure mobile carriers don’t block the messages or flag as spam. Calls to action really depend on your program area or goal for the texting - are you trying to increase engagement, are you trying to gather data from folks, are you trying to get them to complete something, etc.
