When you see a contact upload error “multiple rows in the CSV refer to the same participant”, there are two rows with the same customer_id in the file.
To view the errors from my failed import, click on the results of my import, then click “View Errors.”
Are the indicated rows duplicates, meaning two rows with identical content?
- Delete one of the rows, save as a CSV, and reupload.
Has one customer ID been mistakenly been assigned to two separate contacts?
- Search for the correct ID in your records, correct the data, then reupload your file.
